Chapter 296

WULFRIC walked out of the fitting room. This was already the fourth set of clothes he tried on. He was already a bit numb to it all. He even felt like he's just a robot doing a set of programmed actions. Which was not entirely false. Because he's only doing this because of Aster.

He raised his head to look at the other. Aster was sitting on the couch with a juice and some snacks on the table beside it. The other looked like a noble prince waiting to watch a show. In this case, Wulfric being the star of the said show.

He didn't mind so much though. Especially after seeing the twinkle in Aster's eyes every time he walked out of the fitting room with a different outfit. It's like a big boost to his ego. At least he now knew that Aster liked his appearance.

Astrid quickly took a photo once Wulfric walked out of the fitting room. He'd been taking a photo every time the other wore a new set of clothes. Right now, Wulfric was wearing a sky-blue sweater over a white shirt paired with white shorts.

This style made him look very boyish yet also preppy at the same time. It certainly made him appear more youthful. If anyone saw him in such a get-up, they would probably think he's a university student. It didn't diminish his handsomeness though. In fact, it added a certain kind of charm to him.

"This one looks good on you too," he said to Wulfric.

"You also said that to the other three sets of clothes," Wulfric said in a helpless tone.

"Well, what can I do if all of them looks good on you?" Astrid responded with a shrug. "Come on, there's only one set left. Your suffering will be over by then," he added, teasing the other.

"Hey, I'm not suffering. Although, I'm not enjoying this either. But since you obviously do, I won't definitely spoil your fun."

Astrid smiled when he heard Wulfric say that. "How thoughtful of you. Your subordinates must be lucky to have you as their general."

"I doubt they think the same," Wulfric said with a wry smile. After all, Aster was the only one who had this privilege. "I'll go and try the last one," he quickly added, just in case Aster asked him further about what he meant.

Astrid gave Wulfric an 'okay' gesture. And the other walked back to the fitting room. He looked at his Terminal and browsed the photos he had taken. There were about 30 so far. This included the other photos they took at the horror theme park. He was planning to make an album with these photos and give them to Wulfric.

Most of the things in today's era were digital, like money, books, and yes, photos. So, making a physical copy and compiling them into an album could show his appreciation towards the other.

The door of the fitting room opened and Wulfric walked out. The other was now wearing a pink polo shirt with a loose dark blue tie, paired with jeans. Astrid quickly took the other's photo and then gave a double thumbs-up.

He's actually really glad that this clothing brand didn't have exaggerated designs like most of the high-end clothing in this era. Although it would probably be more fun to see Wulfric wore such clothes.

"Are you going to buy any of the clothes I picked for you?" Astrid asked after closing his Terminal.

Wulfric nodded. "I'll buy all of them." [Because you're the one who picked them for me.]

After saying that, he clicked the check-out button on the virtual catalog after checking all the clothes that Aster chose. Indicating that he would buy them all.

"Shall we go then?" Astrid asked.

"What, without you trying any clothes? Wouldn't that be too unfair?" Wulfric said with a grin. "Don't worry, I will also only choose the same number of clothes you did."

Astrid smiled helplessly. "Fine. Let me do a fashion walk for you."

With him agreeing, Wulfric picked clothes on the virtual catalog. It didn't take long before the clothes were delivered to the private dressing room. To Astrid's surprise, all the clothes that Wulfric chose had the same color scheme as the ones he chose for the other.

He smiled at that. Who would have thought that Wulfric would still have the concept of 'couple shirt' in mind?

He then went tried the first set of clothes.

After buying clothes, the two went to a shoe store next. There, they bought a pair of shoes that had similar design. Astrid's was white while Wulfric's was black. The next one they went to was a jewelry and accessory shop. Both of them bought something on their own.

Of course, their little action was not missed by each other. After all, Wulfric was the one who had been paying for everything so far. Astrid actually wanted to pinch in, especially for the clothes and shoes. But the other insisted that since he's the one who invited him out, it's only right for him to pay for everything.

When Astrid saw how determined Wulfric was, he no longer insisted. The two of them would only waste time arguing about something that wasn't really worth arguing about.

It was already five o'clock in the afternoon when they finished their shopping. Wulfric never thought that he would one day have fun doing this kind of activity. Maybe because most of the things he bought were for Aster and not for others or even for himself. He definitely enjoyed picking stuffs for Aster. Just the thought of the other using the things he bought for him could already bring immense joy to his heart.

After the shopping spree, they decided to watch a movie. Since Wulfric wasn't really well-versed in movies and things like that, Astrid was the one who decided which movie they would watch.

And he chose the most recent movie of the current number one on the [Star List] – Valentine Davis.
